Here, I talk about the kit that I use to build and run my website and the social media platforms I host.

Daily driver kit

At home, my main workhorse is a coping-extremely-well 27" late 2013 Intel Mac, running Sonoma 14.4 by way of the awesome Open Core Legacy Patcher.

I use one (of a eBay job lot) of 6 Dell Optiplex 3010 running Debian Bookworm.
- Boots from 240GB SSD
- Uses 3TB HDD for storage
- Intel i3-3240 (4) @ 3.400GHz
- 4GB RAM
- Backed up to BackupPC hourly

Fediverse (Mastodon, Pixelfed, Peertube)

Another Dell Optiplex 3010 running Debian Bookworm.
- Boots from 240GB SSD
- Uses 3TB HDD for storage
- Intel i3-3240 (4) @ 3.400GHz
- 4GB RAM
- Backed up to BackupPC hourly
- Backed up to Hetzner Storagebox via borgbackup daily

Servarr*

A custom-built Intel i7 running Debian Bookworm.
- Boots from 240GB SSD.
- Uses 8TB + 1TB (LVM) HDD for storage
- 24GB RAM
- Runs: SABNZBDplus, sonarr, radarr, prowlarr, bazarr, logitechmediaserver, jellyfin

BackupPC

Another Dell Optiplex 3010, running backupPC server on Debian Bullseye.

- Uses 2TB HDD for storage
- Intel i3-3240 (4) @ 3.400GHz
- 4GB RAM
- backed up to Hetzner Storagebox by way of borgbackup daily
